Nayimba Baptist Church Update
The picture below shows some of the pastors on the pastoral team of Nayimba Baptist Church, including Senior Pastor Omar Emmanuel (second picture, far right). They guide the church through evangelism, door to door preaching and crusades. The team is truly grateful for the support you have sent to them as they have managed to get work going at the school and church as you can see from the other pictures.
On the 26th of January,
the children and the youth of the church harmoniously warmed the congregation
for the two services with songs, skits and preaching.
The children’s ministry offered and
entertained guests on Sunday in praises, worship and skits as well as the
preaching. The skit was advising us to be descent in church and to respect our
leaders. The children thanked Bishop Omar and the congregation for the support
rendered to them plus the funds. The children also participated in a cultural
dance at the church during the service.

Gifting
children
The church offerings were gifted for
the children to aid them to get books and other scholastic materials that are needed
for them to attend school. They prayed for the students that are heading back
to school for the first term that opened-on 26th January 2025, and
others will be resuming 2nd February 2025. One of the pupils in the
picture below with the books she received.
In one of the church services, part
of the congregation was able to get some funds to pay for Emmanuel Mawanda to
go back to school. He hasn’t been in school for a while, so this is an answer
to prayer for him. The funds will help
in buying scholastic materials for him to go to school.
Construction of
the church and the school.
Building of the church still
continues especially the fence that is currently in the construction process at
the church. Unfortunately, it is necessary to build the fence, since there have
been several robberies from the church over the last year.
One of the classroom buildings is
pictured below. This building will need preservatives and paint so that the
termites don’t consume them within a year.
Below is a picture of another
classroom building that has been built up against one of the walls of the
church. The classrooms will need windows plus verandas to be added. This will
help in the rainy seasons so that water doesn’t enter the classrooms.

Some classes were expanded and they
will need to fix some of the holes in the floor, and then concrete over them.
Some materials have been delivered
for construction like sand and bricks and there is an additional need for
cement to further the building of the church fence and verandas.
Health Camp
The church will be organising a
health camp at the end of the year. The picture below
shows one of the activities that took place last year during the health camp.
They have activities like counseling, HIV testing, optical screening plus
management for blood pressure examination and many more.
Prayer requests.
The prayer requests of the church
are children’s education support, God’s provision for the seminars, conferences
and crusades of this year. Completion of the church premises.
